Design for Disability - Bathrooms

To create a fully functional bathroom design it is essential to create as much space as possible preferably with at least a 1500mm width. Existing bathroom furniture and services may need to be moved to accommodate your new design and make the room more accessible. Creating this larger space will add value to your home, especially when you sell as everyone loves a large luxury bathroom.

Which ever bath or shower you choose it will make a wise investment to install a transfer seat and handgrips to reduce the risk of falling or slipping. A great option is to install a roll-in shower, although not inexpensive, a shower with no floor-barriers (effectively a wet room) creates a modern, luxury style is just as appealing to those without disabilities.

Over mounted , pedestal and cabinet sinks with a single-lever taps couple functionality and modern design.

Our functional designs always incorporate a luxury feel for that most relaxing and essential room.
